The out-of-this-world O’heocha Design D2 Saturn is the only audiophile speaker system to appear in the blockbuster movie 'Men in Black.' The D2 Saturn has proven itself an A-list celebrity in the world of audiophile Hi-Fi! The D2 Saturn has the “wow factor” that puts it in a category all its own. It is acclaimed as a work of art that gives incredible visual pleasure as well as stunning sonic performance.
Engineered and hand crafted in the West of Ireland, these speakers provide the clearest three-dimensional soundstage performance available. The 1" tweeter is mounted on an isolated rubber insert at the top of the assembly with a control spike that minimizes resonance transfer from midrange to treble. Two 6 1/2" midrange drivers, one forward-firing and one rear-firing, are mounted in their own suspension system that prevents low frequencies from being transferred to the spherical midrange enclosure; the spheres rotate horizontally, allowing you to fine tune your listening environment without having to move the speakers. Two proprietary 11" woofers are mounted cone-to-cone in an isobaric configuration that generates thunderously smooth low bass, resulting in extended bass frequency response equivalent to a speaker enclosure twice its size. Both speakers have two bass reflex ports for their woofer assemblies that equalize air-flow throughout the enclosure to minimize resonance common in single-port designs, resulting in distortion-free bass that can be tuned as low as 25Hz! The speaker’s single-piece hyperboloid enclosures is made of aircraft grade aluminum and a PVC/steel composite, reinforced by 3/8" diameter horizontal and vertical bracing rods that ensure maximum rigidity and minimize sound wave reflections. The three legs of each speaker taper to a pinpoint to minimize any resonance transfer to your floor, and include floor protectors for each.

Good engineering never sits still. This is certainly true for O'heocha. After a year of solid engineering effort we have taken full advantage of recent engineering developments actually improved on the original design. We are now proud to announce the launch of the new D2 Saturn 2 speaker. From the outside the appearance is still unmistakably O'heocha but under the 'hood' is where the real changes have taken place. The crossover has been re-engineered with the best quality Mundorf cross coil inductors imported specially from Germany and the finest SCR polypropylene capacitors from France. All of the drive units can now be individually controlled via. the crossover connections in the bass of the speaker, making it fully compatible for use with an external crossover unit or active and indeed wireless control.
New more efficient midrange drive units have been specially selected to integrate seamlessly with the bass and treble units. The result is class-leading dynamics, coupled with even more depth and breath of soundstage.
