 D2-XCT
The flagship model of the D2-Series, the D2-XCT features an external crossover unit housed in a de-coupled, vented enclosure of its own.
An unique resonance control system and super-efficient vented cooling design mean the high-quality crossover unit is protected from performance degrading vibration and heating factors. The result is a clean and detailed, yet smooth and rich sound that is so three-dimensional that the speaker truly becomes sonically invisible.

The new D2-XCT brings the D2 series to a new level of design excellence both in sound quality and aesthetics. The D2-XCT combines the classic D2 cabinet and ISO-5 technology with an externally enclosed crossover unit.
The ‘turbine’ styled crossover enclosure is constructed from two 6mm circular stainless steel plates, separated by 18 polished aluminum aileron section fins forming the vented ‘turbine’ shaped crossover casing. The vented crossover enclosure facilitates heat dissipation, keeping the components constantly cool.
The de-coupling of the crossover from the speaker cabinet also permits the spacing of components to be optimized thereby eliminating potential adverse field effects and distortions experienced when components are placed in close proximity to one another. High performance/low loss crossover components and Chord Company silver cables are used to maintain signal integrity throughout.
The D2 XCT enclosure is fitted with three outrigger feet with in-built isolation spikes with damper units that decouple the unit from the floor, reducing transmission of unwanted resonance. The structure also has the additional function of acting as stylish stand for the ISO-5 speakers.
