 O-Link HD Amp
The O-Link Amp is a compact High Definition (HD) amplifier capable of truly outstanding audio performance. The O-Link HDA has been designed to be extremely versatile. Because of it's compact size it can be used as a neat desktop unit with a direct digital connection to your pc/laptop, ipod, PDA, CD/DVD player. It is also compatible with Super Audio CD and DVD audio players.
Problems associated with poor quality audio from PC's are overcome with a direct digital connection via your USB connection. This ensures that signal quality is maintained right through to your speakers. Mains and battery powered options are available and the robust O-Link HDA can be used in any part of the house or garden. The O-Link HDA uses a state of the art 24 bit/192 KHz Analogue to Digital Convertor (ADC) from Cirrus Logic in combination with a Direct Digital Amp for ultra short signal paths ensuring consistently premium performance.
Great attention has been paid to maintaining the accurate and precise reproduction of audio signals with particular emphasis on keeping noise and distortion levals at an absolute minimum. As a result of this work distortion figures for the HDA equal those of the best valve amplifiers.
A tactile, user friendly remote control allowing the user to switch between three different sources and control volume from the comfort of their favourite listening positon completes this unique package.

An advanced high-quality programmable amplifier lies at the heart of this design. As a result of it's compact cool running digital design it is 90% efficient making it ideal for portable battery powered applications. It's class leading efficiency also makes makes it an ideal choice for helping to preserve the earth's energy reserves comsuming a mere 10% of the power consumed by competitor products for the same output.
The integrated digital circuitry also allows control of input source and volume, combining the functions of bit accurate control amplifier with a low distortion high performance stereo power amplifier. Signal paths are as short as possible leaving little room for distortion. Cost savings also result from the elimination of multiples of interconnects and the 'clutter' factor is significantly reduced. The design of this amplifier also means that it can run off both a mains and a battery power supply for maximum flexibility of use.
